Comité Colbert | Spatial and Promotional Design | 2013

During my time at Central Saint Martins, I was involved in a collaboration with ENSAAMA and Comité Colbert, commissioned to develop a range of promotional products and and a celebratory event to compliment the proposed products. This was done for four sub brands of the LVMH brand. 

 

Below are the results of our work for Dior Couture, Lorenz Baumer, Pierre Frey and Remy Martin. It is the celebration of the summer Equinox. A celebration to signify the creme de la creme of the companies achievements in a crystal refraction themed event where invitations would be sent to new customers to the brand in order to promote growth of the business.

De Dematierialization de la Diamont (Deconstruction of the Diamond

We started by looking at Lorenz Baumer's work with diamonds and gem stones and decided to use that as a source of inspirations for the graphics for the promotional products and events. As the diamond is an iconic symbol of success we looked at the light that diffracts through it as an analogy of the awe inspiring effect it has on its audience. We used the refracted light patterns from this process as a reference point.

Below are some concepts for a dress patterns, sculpture, bags and watches to celebrate Dior and act as a light difuser used to project light onto the surface of a Dior dress in order to symbolize the process of inspiration to application of the graphics onto the dress.
